During my years of traveling the Caribbean Islands and Americas I have learned a great deal about rum production. From fermentation, distillation, aging and blending there is wonderful combination of science and skill that goes into creating a quality rum. To review any spirit a person needs to train their eyes, nose, and palate to understand what the blender is sharing with them through the liquid. When I review a rum I share my impressions of the spirit with you in the hopes that you can use it is as a guide or inspiration to try a new product.
I promise that my reviews are as fair and unbiased as possible. If there is a bias one way or another I will mention it in the review. They are a lot of good and bad products out there and I have chosen to focus my attention on the ones I have positive things to say about.
